It is possible, but don't under estimate the time and effort it will take to both create and maintain your website.

If you decided to construct your site yourself, it's important to do your homework and plan your progress carefully. Each step is critical to your end result.

If you have minimal experience in web design it will take longer to construct, but you may have an advantage in that you can self-maintain your site more often than you would otherwise be able to, with current up-to-the-minute information.

Caution: Beware that your site doesn't look like an amateur's work, as it will be hard to convince your customers that your goods and services will be professional.
